• The way that ActivityTypes affect your availability is no longer for each Scheduling Type. Instead, you just define them globally.
• Activity Type has been changed to Label as we prepare to move into a properties-based scheduling algorithm.

URL Structure Update

We've simplified your scheduling URLs to make them easier to remember and share. Your scheduling page is now at username.rhythmscheduler.com instead of the previous longer format.

• New URL format: username.rhythmscheduler.com
• Previous format (rhythmscheduler.com/r/username/type/link) is no longer supported
• You can update your URL in your account settings

New Scheduling Experience

We've introduced a unified scheduling page that shows all your scheduling types in one place. When clients visit your page, they can choose what type of meeting they want to schedule with you.

• Single page for all your scheduling types designed to feel more conversational.
• Clients can choose from any of your meeting type from a single page.
• Direct links to specific scheduling types are no longer available, as we'll be rolling in some exciting changes to the way that scheduling types are defined and sent in the next few weeks.

Note

Your URLs will change one more time in the next few weeks as we shift to a shorter and more semantic domain name.

Improvements

• Settings URL has moved to dashboard.rhythmscheduler.com. This doesn't seem like much of a change, but it's going to enable shorter scheduling URLs in the future.

• When replying to booking confirmation/reschedule emails, the default reply to address is now set to be the client's
• Made it more clear that interpretation rules criteria are combined with "AND" not "OR".
• Fixed some typos in the interpretation rule editor (apparently I don't know how to spell "interpreted")

Improvements

• When setting availability per day, only show the "CopyTo" and "Clear" buttons when there are timeslots for a given day.

Bug Fixes

• The last days of the month were not being displayed as options when the calendar had 6 rows of weeks.
• Made login case insensitive for email address (yes, [email protected] and [email protected] were treated as different accounts...)

New Features

• Implemented the ability for clients to to reschedule or cancel meetings they've booked with you. On the calendar invite, they'll see a link which they'll be able to use to make changes to the meeting.

Improvements

• Fixed a bug where the calendar would reset the date when selecting a new duration and vice versa.
• When you have no availability for a given month, clients will now see a message indicating that.

  • Implemented email verification (and made it required to log in to your account).
  • Implemented a way to request a new verification email if you didn't receive the first one.
• Improved the UX of the login and create account flow:
  • You now are first directed to a page to enter your email address.
  • We then direct you to enter your password only if the account exists and is verified.
